About Aging in Place Assistance

Our free Aging In Place Assessments are for anyone aged 60 and up who may need a little help navigating their home safely.

In Lakewood, many residents live in century old houses or buildings. We strive to help those living here to age safely where they are, by assessing how you move through your space. How someone uses the stairs or gets into and out of the tub or shower are examples of what we can evaluate and potentially help with. We can aid in identifying inexpensive fixes that help make life a bit easier and safer, allowing seniors to remain in the comfort of their homes as they age.

To set up an Aging in Place Assessment, please contact Housing Outreach & Toolbox Coordinator Matt Clark at (216) 521-0655 x5 or MClark@LakewoodAlive.org.

Know a Senior Who Needs Help with Yard Work or Snow Shoveling?

We pair volunteers with seniors in need of help with leaf raking, snow removal, and yard clean ups. If you know someone who could benefit from this read more about our programs for seniors.
