Birdtown Picnic

The Annual Birdtown Picnic, which takes place the second Saturday in June at Madison Park each year, is a free community picnic that provides a free lunch, family friendly entertainment and activities, and resources from local organizations.

Grab your picnic blankets and chairs and head on down to Madison Park for an afternoon celebration of community and our historic Birdtown neighborhood. The lunch is first come, first served, with vegan options available upon request.

Past year’s activities and entertainment have ranged from yoga, basketball, tending to the H2O maintained community garden, a visit from the Lakewood Fire Department, sidewalk chalk, music enrichment, and various games for children.

All are welcome, though this event is meant to serve the Birdtown neighborhood first and foremost.
