The biggest block party in the city will once again heat up Lakewood this summer! The Lakewood Summer Meltdown, will return for its 18th year on Saturday, July 18 from 4 – 10 PM in Downtown Lakewood (Detroit Avenue between Marlowe and Arthur Avenues).

The Summer Meltdown represents one of the region’s most highly anticipated street parties. A summertime celebration of our city’s vibrancy, this free community event draws nearly 15,000 attendees from across Northeast Ohio to the heart of Lakewood each July.

The Summer Meltdown features a 5K race,1 Mile Family Fun Run & Walk, a street festival, outdoor activities, games, food vendors, a beer garden, live music, and more!

Register for the 5K Race or 1 Mile Family Fun Run & Walk today! Save money by signing up early: the first 50 5K signup’s will be discounted to $20, followed by a pre-registration price of $30, and $35 day-of registration. The 1 Mile is $15 to register.
