Building Community Partnerships

Connection is what we thrive on. Working with people, organizations, and businesses to uplift each other, and keep our community vibrant and welcoming, is what we strive for everyday. We connect housing clients with resources and other social service agencies. We connect small businesses with each other and opportunities at the local, regional, state and national levels. You can join us in our mission through volunteerism, sponsoring an event, or donating.

Volunteer with Us

Volunteering as a group can be a fantastic team building experience. Our Housing Outreach program is always looking for groups to help our neighbors in need with yard clean ups in spring and summer or leaf raking in fall. We work with you to find the right fit in terms of length and size of the project. Our Special Events offer opportunities for small groups to volunteer together, and our committees are always on the look out for community members to join.

Our community events draw thousands of people from throughout Northeast Ohio and are a great opportunity to increase brand awareness, engage with a wide audience and give back to the community. Each special event offers a variety of sponsor levels and benefits – see specific events for details. All events come with recognition on our social media channels, website and e-newsletter.

  • Businesses can donate to LakewoodAlive either directly through our PayPal account with a one time or recurring gift, or by setting up a Dine/Shop to Donate day with us.
